I don't know about you, but growing up, school book fairs were a highlight of the year. The unmatched excitement of getting that Troll order form, picking out my favorite books, and browsing through shelves filled with fun bookmarks, stickers, multi-color pens, and pencils was unforgettable. As I grew older, I realized that these fairs were more than just shopping events; they were a celebration of creativity and learning.

Mall bookstores in the 80s had a similar magic for me. They were cozy places where I could spend hours exploring new titles and finding journals to record my thoughts. On the opposite end, we also want to have a selection of fun pens and pencils that spark joy, won't break the bank, and that you won't mind if they go missing as they sparked joy for someone else as well.

Our site features a selection of interesting and unique books that would be right at home at a school book fair or on the shelves at the mall bookstore. Yes, we have a lot of books on cats! We love cats and dogs (hence our logo!). We also adored Choose Your Own Adventure books and books where you are the detective, so we'll be stocking a lot of those kinds of books as well.
