I've been game mastering now for about 30 years. If I had found this book at my school book fair back in the day it would have made life so much easier! A GREAT introduction to TTRPG (tabletop role-playing games) and to start playing and running them!
Justin Alexander's full subtitle gives away the scope: Everything You Need to Start Your Tabletop Adventure for Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and Other Systems. It is written to work whatever system is on your shelf, and at 544 pages it is closer to a reference manual than a pep talk. This is the one to get if you want to run games and not just play in them.
