Return & Refund Policy

At West Beverly Sales, we want you to love your find. Whether it’s a fresh-off-the-press journal or a carefully curated vintage book, we are committed to your satisfaction. Please review our guidelines below for orders placed through our online shop. All transactions are processed in USD.

Return Guidelines

Standard items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be in the same condition that you received them—unworn, unused, and in their original packaging. Please include your order number with any request.

Refund Policy

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method in USD within 5 to 10 business days.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Please note that vintage and collectible items are often pre-loved and may exhibit light wear consistent with their age. These items are sold as-is and are not eligible for return unless significantly different from their online description. Final sale items and digital downloads are also non-returnable.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Return Guidelines

Timeframe

Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please ensure your return request is initiated through our online portal before this period expires.

Unused Condition

All eligible items must be in their original, unused condition and include all original packaging and tags to be accepted for return.

Vintage Notice

Please note that vintage and collectible items are unique and may show light signs of wear consistent with their age, which does not constitute a defect.

Receiving Your Refund

Approved returns are processed within 5-10 business days from the receipt of your item. Once inspected, your refund will be issued in USD to the original method of payment only. Please note that credit card companies and banks may require additional time to post the transaction to your account.

Non-Returnable Items

Digital Downloads

All digital products, including printable stationery and e-books, are final sale once the download link has been accessed.

Custom Stationery

Items that have been personalized, custom-printed, or altered specifically for your order cannot be returned or refunded.

Special Collections

Vintage collectibles sold 'as-is' and rare books with described light wear are final sale as detailed in our descriptions.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. To initiate a return, please package your item securely and include your original order number.

Returns and Refund Policy


West Beverly Sales LLC ("West Beverly Sales," "we," "us," or "our") offers the following return and refund terms for all merchandise purchased through westbeverlysales.com. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.
 

1. Return Window.

Requests to return eligible merchandise must be initiated within fourteen (14) calendar days of the delivery date as recorded by the carrier's tracking. Requests submitted after this window will not be accepted.
 

2. Eligible Returns.

To qualify for a return, items must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received. Books and printed materials must be free of any markings, creases, or signs of reading. We reserve the right to inspect all returned merchandise and to deny a refund, or issue a partial refund, for any item received in non-resalable condition.
 

3. How to Initiate a Return.

Email shane@westbeverlysales.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and a clear photograph of each item in its current condition. We will respond with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return shipping instructions. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused at our discretion and returned to sender at the customer's expense.
 

4. Final Sale Items.

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances except in cases of manufacturer defect or shipping damage (see Section 5):

  • Scratch-and-sniff stickers and any opened sticker sheet

  • Custom or made-to-order enamel pins and similar customized merchandise

  • Vintage merchandise, including but not limited to vintage pencils and writing implements, which are sold "AS IS" with all faults and may exhibit wear, oxidation, or other characteristics consistent with their age

  • Any item marked "Final Sale," "Clearance," or sold at a promotional discount of 25% or more

  • Gift cards

Customers are responsible for verifying the suitability of these items prior to purchase.
 

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or contains an item different from what you ordered, you must notify us within seven (7) calendar days of delivery by emailing shane@westbeverlysales.com with your order number and photographs documenting the issue and any external packaging damage. We will, at our sole discretion, either replace the item or issue a full refund of the item price and applicable shipping charges. Our liability under this section is limited to the purchase price of the affected item(s).
 

6. Lost or Undelivered Shipments.

Title and risk of loss for all merchandise pass to the customer upon transfer to the carrier. If carrier tracking indicates a package has been delivered but you have not received it, please first verify the delivery address on your order, check with members of your household and immediate neighbors, and contact your local post office or carrier branch. We will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating undelivered packages but are not responsible for items lost, stolen, or misdelivered after carrier acceptance.
 

7. Return Shipping.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective returns and assumes the risk of loss or damage during return transit. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
 

8. Refund Processing.

Once a returned item is received and inspected, an eligible refund will be issued to the original method of payment within ten (10) business days. Depending on your financial institution, the refund may take additional time to appear on your statement. We reserve the right to issue store credit in lieu of a refund to the original payment method where applicable.
 

9. Order Cancellations.

Orders may be cancelled prior to shipment by contacting us at shane@westbeverlysales.com. Orders that have already been processed, packed, or shipped cannot be cancelled and must be handled under this Return Policy.
 

10. Reservation of Rights.

West Beverly Sales LLC reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or future orders from any customer who, in our reasonable judgment, has engaged in return abuse, fraud, or behavior inconsistent with these terms. We further reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time; the policy in effect on the date your order was placed shall govern.
 

11. Limitation of Liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the remedies described in this Return Policy are the customer's sole and exclusive remedies for any claim relating to merchandise purchased from West Beverly Sales LLC. In no event shall West Beverly Sales LLC be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
 

12. Statutory Rights.

Nothing in this Return Policy is intended to limit or waive any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection or warranty laws in your jurisdiction of residence.
 

13. Governing Law.

This Return Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under this policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
